A HELPING HAND

Make a short video from your photos

A before-and-after, something you made or a few memories: use fewer photos and allow time to look at them.

Prepare your photos

  1. Add JPG/PNG photos or try the sample.
  2. Set the order and optional photo captions, then choose timing, format and optional audio.
  3. Create your MP4, watch and listen, then download it.

Choose JPG or PNG files and keep the originals. Convert HEIC photos before importing. Files follow selection order; use Move up and Move down to tell your story. Portrait photos in a landscape video can leave large gaps: compare the four formats first.

Select each thumbnail to check framing. Keep the whole photos adds black bars; Fill the frame crops centrally. Faces, captions and signatures close to edges may disappear. The preview shows framing, not a full slideshow playback. Select each photo to add an optional caption (up to 120 characters). White text appears on a dark banner at the bottom throughout that photo; lines wrap automatically. It is burned into the MP4 picture. Clear the field to remove the banner. Captions stay with their photos when reordered.

Choose timing and audio

The shared duration applies to all photos by default. Enable “Set a different duration for each photo”, then select a thumbnail to set its duration. For example, a 1.7-second hook followed by a 4.3-second solution makes a 6-second video. Choose 0.5 to 10 seconds in 0.1-second steps, with a one-minute total limit. Timing stays with each photo when reordered. Switching the option off restores shared timing without erasing your custom durations. Cuts are direct, with no crossfade, animation or zoom. Allow more time for details or text and use fewer images.

Optionally add music or a voice recording from your device. Audio starts at the beginning and stops at the slideshow end. Shorter audio leaves silence. It does not loop or mix with another track. Listen to the result: trimming can cut off a sentence. Only share audio you have permission to use.

Export and check

The result is an H.264 MP4 at 30 fps. Audio, when included, becomes stereo AAC. Photos are resized to the chosen frame, up to 1280 pixels on the longer side; this cannot add detail. Transparent PNG areas use a black background.

Play the entire MP4. Check first and last photos, order, duration and sound. Download before closing or changing language. Failures and cancellations keep the previous result. Editing the slideshow does not change an existing download: export again.

Limits and local processing

Use up to 20 photos, 10 MiB each and 80 MiB total, no more than 40 megapixels or 12,000 pixels per side. Audio supports mono/stereo MP3, WAV, M4A and OGG up to 20 MiB and 10 minutes. The final video is limited to 60 seconds and 64 MiB.

The engine downloads on first export; your photos and audio are not uploaded to a conversion server. Processing needs memory and can be slow. Try fewer photos if your device struggles. A recent computer is recommended; narrow-screen browser tests do not qualify every phone.
