A HELPING HAND
Add a drawn signature or signature image to a PDF page
Add a visible signature to a copy of your PDF. Draw with a mouse or finger, or upload an image, then choose its position on the page.
Try the fictional document first
- Open Add a signature to a PDF. Choose Draw my signature or Import a signature / stamp.
- Draw in the box and select Use my signature, or upload a PNG or JPG image.
- Choose your PDF, or Try an example for a fictional document. Choose a page, move and resize the signature, create and download the PDF, then open it in your PDF reader to check its position.
Position the signature precisely
The dotted frame shows the signature on the displayed page. Drag it with a mouse or finger, or use the horizontal and vertical position sliders. Focus the signature and use the arrow keys to move it with a keyboard; Shift + arrow moves it further.
Resizing keeps the image proportions and the signature stays within the page. Export adds one signature to the chosen page. Other pages retain their content and orientation. Create the PDF again after a change before downloading it.
Draw or upload an image
A transparent PNG avoids a white rectangle around your signature. JPG backgrounds are kept. Crop images with large blank margins before uploading. Drawings are automatically cropped. Download my signature as PNG saves your drawing with a transparent background, even without uploading a PDF. Use my signature places it in the document preview.
Clear drawing only clears the drawing box. The signature already placed on the page remains available until you use a new drawing or upload another image. Clear everything removes the document, signature and result from the session.
Reuse a FilePico stamp
In Create a stamp, choose Add to a PDF to bring the stamp here in the same tab. You can also use the signature import field to open a stamp PNG or a .filepico-tampon template up to 16 KB.
Position this mark on the chosen page like a signature. A new stamp replaces the current mark: it does not build a collection of marks across several pages. The template keeps stamp text and settings, without containing your PDF.
What this result represents
FilePico adds a visible image to your PDF. It does not provide an electronic signature certificate, identity verification or a signing audit trail. If the recipient requires a certified electronic signature, use the service they specify.
PDFs containing a digital signature field are rejected to avoid modifying a signed original. Password-protected PDFs are also rejected. Keep the original document and check your downloaded copy.
Limits and privacy
PDF: up to 50 MB and 1,000 pages. PNG or JPG signature: up to 5 MB and 4 million pixels. Output: up to 64 MB. Large documents can be slow on a phone.
Processing stays on your device. FilePico does not save your documents or signatures. Download the result before closing, reloading or changing language. A rejected import preserves the previous document and result.
