FilePico

A HELPING HAND

Reduce photo file sizes for an online form

Photos too large to send? Prepare lighter copies, then check their file sizes and readability before submitting them.

Choose photos and a compression level

  1. Add your JPG or PNG images. You can select several files and add more in stages.
  2. Choose Gentle to keep dimensions at 90% JPG quality. Balanced uses 75% and limits the longest side to 2,560 pixels. Strong uses 55% and 1,600 pixels.
  3. Select Compress images. Your files stay on your device during processing.

Compare before sending

Each image shows its before/after file sizes, reduction percentage and two previews. Check small text on documents, edges and important details.

If a copy is not smaller, FilePico keeps the original byte for byte, including transparency and metadata. Newly generated JPG copies replace transparency with white and do not carry the original metadata.

Final file size is not guaranteed. If the form has a limit, compare the displayed size with that limit. Try a stronger level if needed, then check readability again.

Download your copies

  1. Download an individual image, or the ZIP for the complete batch.
  2. Open the downloaded files and check them before sending. Extract the ZIP if the form expects an image.
  3. Keep your originals. If you change compression levels, run compression again to create a new result.

Useful limits

Up to 50 images, 20 MB per image, 100 MB total and 24 million pixels per image. Results are limited to 150 MB. Proportions are preserved and small images are never enlarged.

Lighter copies can lose details. This tool does not crop, perform OCR or sharpen unreadable text. Start with a small batch on a phone. Download your copies before closing the page or changing language.
