What does this tool remove?
Comments, the XML declaration and unnecessary indentation outside text. Shapes, colours, coordinates and metadata are kept. An already compact SVG may not become smaller.

What changes?
XML declarations, comments and indentation outside text are removed. Shapes, coordinates, colours, accessibility titles and metadata are kept. No guaranteed size reduction.
Which files are accepted?
Self-contained static UTF-8 SVGs up to 1 MB, 10,000 elements and 100 levels. Scripts, animations, foreign content, external references and DTDs are refused.
Does the result stay editable?
Yes: the result is still an SVG vector drawing. It is not converted to a bitmap or ZIP. Download before closing or changing language.
