Steps, formats and limits

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a compatible video or try the illustrated sample.
  2. Choose the format, edge treatment and framing position.
  3. Create the MP4, check picture and sound, then download your copy.

Does the frame follow the subject?

No. Framing stays fixed throughout the video. Check several moments using the original video’s playback controls.

Can I keep the whole picture?

Yes: choose black bars or a blurred background. Blur is limited to 60 seconds and is a backdrop effect.

Is the sound kept?

The first audio track is re-encoded to AAC; silent videos stay silent. Video is re-encoded to H.264 at up to 30 fps.

Is this a video editor?

It adapts an existing video. It does not generate slideshows, follow a subject or publish to social media. Platforms have their own requirements.
