If the two pages are stacked vertically, turn the scan to landscape in Rotate pages first. Upside-down backs can then be corrected here.

How to use this tool
- Open the PDF of your unfolded sheets, or try the 8-page booklet.
- Choose scan order. Correct upside-down backs if needed and adjust each side’s split.
- Check every thumbnail, confirm, then create and download your reading PDF.
Which booklets work?
One booklet made from sheets folded together and stapled at the centre, with two side-by-side pages on each scanned side. Start with the front of the outermost sheet, carrying the last and first pages. Multiple signatures and bound books are not supported.
What if the backs are upside down?
Enable the 180° rotation. It affects only backs identified by your selected scan layout. Check some text or a picture in the preview. This is a manual setting, not automatic detection.
Does it recognise page numbers?
No. Thumbnail numbers are calculated output positions, not recognised printed numbers. A missing side or wrong layout can give the wrong order. Keep blank sides.
Can each side have a different split?
Yes. Select a side and move the line or slider. Its split belongs to that side. Use the dedicated button to copy it to every side.
Does the result stay a PDF?
Yes, without converting pages to JPEG or adding OCR. Links, annotations, forms, digital signatures and bookmarks are not kept as active features. Encrypted PDFs, forms and digital signatures are rejected. Cropping is not confidential removal of content outside the frame.
